Thoughtful Sunday - Broken
There is something about this quote that really spoke to me the first time I read it. We are all broken, aren't we? Some more than others; but we all have our scars, our burdens, our pain. It's so hard when we're all so encompassed with our own problems and distractions, but I'm going to try to remember this, especially when I'm out and about in the world. The next time a driver is rude, or a cashier is less than kind, or even when my kids are being snarky, I'm going to try to remember that they are all fighting their own battles and that until you walk in someone's shoes, you truly do not know the burden they carry. Their road may be so much more difficult than it looks.
