Fall Tablescape with Willow Pumpkin and Wild Flowers

The other day I realized I had been so busy all summer that I hadn't done a tablescape since July 4th! I do usually like to toy around with tablescape ideas at least a couple of times a month. Not only for fun, but also so that when we entertain I have something prepared beforehand. I adore doing them; it's kind of a fun, creative outlet for me. Anyway, I decided that I really wanted to get one of those natural willow pumpkins to use in my Fall decorating this year. I saw them a lot last year, both at Pottery Barn and places like Home Goods, so I thought it would be easy to find. I was hoping to get 3 or 4 to use on the mantel, but alas, I have only found one so far. So that is how it ended up in my tablescape! In addition to using the naturalness of the willow pumpkin, I wanted to use some natural flowers or plants. I usually buy flowers at Trader Joe's or another market, but I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could do a creative table using just whatever I could find out in nature. So, when I walked the dog, I brought the clippers! Here is what I came up with....
